Caring4Cal Helpline and Coaching

Caring4Cal participants will speak to a live person and receive support with questions about the Caring4Cal website, finding, selecting and registering for courses, and how the incentives work. The helpline can set Caring4Cal participants up for a call with a coach and assist them with resources. Helpline support will be available until August 30, 2024.

NOTE: Coaches and the Helpline cannot answer any questions about incentive application status or payment timing.

Coaches will support Caring4Cal participants with career planning such as exploring healthcare careers and pursuing new professional pathways. Additionally, coaches can help Caring4Cal participants with a range of topics. All coaching sessions will be done remotely by phone calls and texts.

Coaches can help with:

  • Program and career goal setting
    • Career development and planning within the caregiver space

Coaches use active listening and motivational interviewing techniques to help guide the caregiver in identifying an action plan and building self-efficacy.

Coaching support will be available until July 31, 2024.

The Helpline and coaches are unable to pre-review submitted applications for accuracy at this time. The Review Team is trained to review and approve, deny, or return incomplete applications for more information.

Applications are processed in the order they are received. If there are any issues with your application, you will receive an email from the Review Team informing you of what the issue is and how to fix it. Applications that are returned after any issues are fixed will be processed in the order they were originally received.

It may take up to 45 business days/9 weeks for the Review Team to review your application. We encourage you to keep an eye out for an email from Caring4Cal in the meantime.
